Introduction
“Nature'sCool” is a play based outdoor Programme for 6 yr olds * and up which is facilitated by experts in Education, outdoor competency (&parenting).
The Nature'sCool holiday programme is going to be a bit different to what we have offered in the past. We are currently on the search for a new "Bush Base" location due to a change of circumstances with our original site, so in the interim we are offering a "Mobile" version for ages 6+.
Transport will be available from Ngunguru and Mair Park (see below for details). This utilizes our 12 seater van (full passenger certs / licenses etc).
*We may be able to accept children who are a little younger than 6 if their older (responsible) sibling is also taking part as a paying participant. This decision is at the discretion of Safe Outdoors NZ Ltd - please complete the appropriate section of the sign up form.
The focus is on providing opportunity for creative and adventurous (but low risk) outdoor activities which promote environmental awareness, personal growth & team work. We also believe strongly in the benefits of child-led free play (also known as Inquiry based education), so keep our daily plan flexible. Activities may include:
Transport is in our 12 seater Toyota Hiace van. The vehicle has all relevant certs and our drivers are passenger endorsed. All seats include shoulder straps but parents will need to supply booster seats for those kids who legally require one.
